I'm back from all the holiday hoo ha and the New Year Welcome Cold. It's time to get rolling on 2008. One of the changes for One by One this year is space to share information on a monthly basis in Achieve. I hope to not only share new information from our charitable partners, Easter Seals and the U.S. Dream Academy, but to also share some of your stories. Tell me how you and your organization work to better the community. What charities to you support individually or as a group? How do you help children live better lives?
I'm going to start by connecting with our friends at World Vision to learn more about the Network of Caring program that they and Network 21 have created together. If you have stories you'd like to share about why you support World Vision, how you became involved and how it has impacted your life, I would love to hear them and write about them here on this blog and in Achieve.
If you have a foundation that is helping others live better lives, tell me what it is you're working on and I'll share that as well.
I know that there are many of you out there doing good in your communities and that you don't do it for recognition or acknowledgement but rather, because it's the right thing to do.
