Difficult changes.
Monday, August 13, 2007

I don't need to enter a discussion about the difficult changes occurring here currently. Robin, Beth and other members of the Quixtar leadership team are much better equipped to manage those communications. I do want to make sure that we acknowledge the numerous IBOs who are a part of TEAM and other lines of sponsorship who're impacted by the changes here at Quixtar who've been active, long-time supporters of Easter Seals and the U.S. Dream Academy. Many of these IBOs have difficult decisions to make in the weeks ahead regarding their Independent Businesses. Regardless of what they may decide is best for their futures, I hope that they continue to support the kids who're served by these two wonderful organizations.

We at Quixtar as well as our partners at Easter Seals and the U.S. Dream Academy greatly appreciate all you have done in support of their programs. It takes all of us, working together to make this world a better place for kids.

I'm not understanding what this post means. What is happening to these IBO's businesses? What is changing?

Hi Norma.

It cost me very little as I was able to use frequent flier miles and I have relatives there with whom I stay. The boat trip is actually quite inexpensive. My share for a week on the sea and all the food and beverages I needed was $550. Frankly, I spent more on gifts to bring home for friends and family. Turkey is a great place to get some Christmas shopping done.

If you'd like to read more about my trip check out my personal travel blog at travelpod.com search for girlwanderer.

Take care.
