Any golfers out there?
Wednesday, July 18, 2007

I've just started to take up the sport of golf. I can't profess to have any consistency whatsoever, but when I do manage to make contact with the ball, that sound, that heavenly sound, makes me want to do it again. I hear this is some strange sickness.

Those who enjoy golfing and doing good at the same time may be interested in the Eleventh Annual Easter Seals Golf Classic put on by Mike and Patty Angelos, Paul and Peggy Hirth and their group in the Philadelphia area.

The event will take place Tuesday, September 25th at RiverCrest Golf Club in Oaks, PA. All proceeds will benefit Easter Seals. For more information call the RiverCrest Golf Club at 610-933-4700.

If you'd like to help some young people improve their game of golf, there is an opportunity to provide support to the Tilden Career Community Academy Golf Team. Tilden is an inner city high school in an economically depressed area in Chiago. The team is playing with old wooden headed golf clubs and worn out equipment.

Their Assistant Coach is IBO Ricardo Rodriquez, he shares that being a part of the team is often the student's fondest memory of high school and that the coaches strive to teach hard work, integrity, honor and fair play.

If you have any equipment you'd like to donate, contact Coach Rodriquez at 773-535-1625.

And if you're anywhere near a golf club in Grand Rapids, Michigan and you hear someone yelling "fore" you're sure to find me not far behind.

I love the game of golf. I'm working hard on my business right now but have a goal of getting back on the green fields of Indiana. I think it is a great idea to have a golf classic and wish the best for the event.

I've been taking lessons since 11/06.  Not consistently and practice less so, but I enjoy being outdoors.  I love tgw.com from our partner stores.  Got $1000 irons for $250.  The XS/Nike golf bag is also fantastic.

Just a quick little testimonial! I put together my annual golf outing to Barefoot Golf and Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. I brought my XS Energy drinks and BOY did those guys take to it like fish in water! Nearly everyone on that trip is becoming a customer and a couple of them are becoming IBO's!
